ORDER
On December 6, 1995, we issued a final order which affirmed an order of Administrative Law Judge Friend dated January 25, 1995. On December 26, 1995, the claimant filed a “Motion for Extension of Time Within Which to File Notice of Appeal.” The claimant also filed a Notice of Appeal on December 26, 1995.
It is unclear whether the Motion for Extension was directed to us, and the respondents have not filed a response. However, the claimant’s Motion is moot in view of the fact that the claimant filed a notice of appeal on December 26, 1995. Moreover, we lack authority to grant an extension of time to file a notice of appeal with the Court of Appeals. See §8-43-301(10), C.R.S. (1995 Cum. Supp.); C.A.R. 26(a); Picken v. Industrial Claims Appeals Office, 874 P.2d 485 (Colo.App. 1995).
IT IS THEREFORE ORDERED that the claimant’s motion for an extension of time to file a notice of appeal is denied.
