A proceeding involving the dependency and custody of Kathleen Ann Murley, a minor child twenty-three months of age.
Amelia Murley, defendant in error, filed her petition in the juvenile court alleging, inter alia, that she is the mother of Kathleen Ann; that the child is a dependent for the reason that she is entitled to the support and care of her parent or parents, which they have refused to give her, and she asked that Kathleen be declared and adjudged by the court to be dependent, and that it enter such orders and decrees concerning her care, custody and support, as may be deemed necessary and proper.
The trial court adopted a report of the referee appointed to conduct a hearing in the case and ordered, inter alia, that Kathleen be placed in the custody of her mother, Amelia Murley; that the father, Leon P. Murley, pay into the registry of the court thirty dollars per month for the maintenance of the child, and that he be granted the right of reasonable visitation with her.
